Installing Towfu
Download the installer from the download page and run it. Towfu needs 64-bit Windows 11. You can install it before you subscribe.
“Windows protected your PC”
Towfu's installer isn't signed with a publisher certificate yet, so Microsoft SmartScreen may warn you the first time. Select More info, then Run anyway.
Connecting a PC to your account
- Open Towfu, go to Settings then Account & plan, and choose Sign in.
- Your browser opens. Sign in with your email code if asked, then choose Approve.
- Return to Towfu. It connects on its own.
- One plan covers up to 3 of your own PCs. If all three are in use, the approval page lets you remove one and connect the new one.
- Remove a PC any time on Your PCs.
- Towfu checks your plan about once a day. If a PC is offline it keeps working for up to 7 days, never past the end of your access.
- Sign-in codes have 6 digits and work for 15 minutes. If yours doesn't arrive, check your spam folder, then ask for a new one.
Billing, cancelling and refunds
- Towfu Pro is a monthly subscription. Payments are taken by Stripe; under Stripe Managed Payments its affiliate Onelink (link.com) is the merchant of record and sends your receipts.
- Use Manage billing on your account to update your card, see invoices or cancel. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for.
- If a payment doesn't go through, you keep full access for 7 days while it is retried.
- If your subscription ends, nothing on your PC is deleted. Towfu just needs an active subscription to start agents again.
- Refunds: see the refund policy.
Updates
Towfu can check for updates and tells you when one is ready. You choose when to download and install it; it never installs by itself.
